HOBOKO is for those who want to look effortlessly fabulous in relaxed style clothes that you won’t find on the high street: everything is uniquely designed. We aspire to make your life easier with throw-on style that brightens your day.

Rachel Dangar – the founder – launched HOBOKO four years ago when she spotted a gap in the market for unique clothes at an affordable price. Fundamentally designing for the quick-changing tastes of teenagers, she soon realised there needed to be three constants: style, comfort and individuality. HOBOKO’s collection is inspired by the intoxicating colours of the Indian Ocean and now includes designs that work for all ages for both men and women: there is something for everyone.  

We are devoted to designing individual fun clothes that are easy to wear –  uncomplicated, no-fuss simplicity – made from deliciously superfine soft cotton in glorious colours. We believe that clothes must be beautiful but they also need to work for you, so we concentrate on versatility: wardrobe essentials that look just as good at home as they do on the beach and in the taverna, dressed up or dressed down.  And HOBOKO provides the perfect solution when moving through the seasons. 

All our clothes are handmade in Kenya in a small family run tailor. Supporting the local community is so important to us.  Last year we sponsored 6 children through the Kipungani Schools Trust. We gave them the life-changing opportunity of a secondary school education that they otherwise wouldn’t have had.  So thank you for your help to achieve this.
